2005-06 NHL sæson

NHL-sæsonen 2005-06 var den 88. sæson i National Hockey League. Stanley Cup-slutspillet i 2006 begyndte den 21. april 2006 og sluttede den 19. juni. Carolina Hurricanes besejrede Edmonton Oilers. Dette var den første Stanley Cup for Hurricanes.

Sæsonen 2004-05 blev aflyst på grund af en arbejdskonflikt med NHL Players Association. Striden drejede sig om den kollektive overenskomst (CBA) mellem ligaen og spillerne.
